Mr. Nikou founded Atar Capital with the vision of driving efficiencies, core philosophies and strong principles into the firm and its portfolio companies.
Mr. Nikou oversees all aspects of the firm’s strategy, including M&A, Operations, Corporate Development, and overall management. Mr. Nikou is actively involved with every aspect of the transaction life cycle, and plays a significant role in all of Atar Capital’s investments.

Prior to founding Atar Capital, Mr. Nikou was partner at Revolution Capital Group in Los Angeles, where he was responsible for co-managing the financing and legal operations of the business. While with Revolution, Mr. Nikou had invested in and is currently on the boards of the following companies: Maysteel, Tvilum, Dove Professional Apparel, CAP XG, and Tampa Media Group.
Mr. Nikou holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Corporate Finance from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business.
At Atar Capital Mr. Huang primarily focuses on evaluating new investment opportunities, performing due diligence and providing financial and operational oversight of portfolio companies. Prior to joining Atar Capital, Mr. Huang was CFO of Revolution Capital where he was responsible for overseeing the FP&A functions of portfolio companies and providing operational oversight.
At Atar Capital Mr. Huang primarily focuses on evaluating new investment opportunities, performing due diligence and providing financial and operational oversight of portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Atar Capital, Mr. Huang was CFO of Revolution Capital where he was responsible for overseeing the FP&A functions of portfolio companies and providing operational oversight. Mr. Huang has corporate finance experience where he served as the Sr. Director of Finance at Murad and was responsible for enterprise-wide analytics, reporting, and budgeting. He also served as VP Strategic Planning for Goldline International, managing day-to-day cash flow forecasts, evaluating new businesses opportunities, and working on strategic corporate initiatives.
Mr. Huang also spent 11 years in M&A advising both financial and strategic buyers through financial and operational due diligence and has spent time at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, McGladrey, and Duff & Phelps, advising on over $2 billion in transaction value. As part of his M&A career, Mr. Huang also spent time at Platinum Equity evaluating deals, performing due diligence, and working with lenders, both domestically, and internationally in Europe.
Mr. Huang holds a B.S. in Economics from The University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School, and is a licensed CPA in the state of California.
At Atar Capital, Mr. Pengal focuses on evaluating the operating needs of new investment opportunities, due diligence and operational oversight of portfolio companies.
Mr. Pengal has over 25 years of operational experience in a senior or executive role. At Warner Brothers, he was General Manager of several facilities with volumes up to 8 billion in retail shelf ready product. He also led several technology stack developments and implementations.
At Atar Capital, Mr. Pengal focuses on evaluating the operating needs of new investment opportunities, due diligence and operational oversight of portfolio companies.
Mr. Pengal has over 25 years of operational experience in a senior or executive role. At Warner Brothers, he was General Manager of several facilities with volumes up to 8 billion in retail shelf ready product. He also led several technology stack developments and implementations.
As Vice President of Operations at Goldline International, he led the technology and process improvements to grow the company from $50M in revenue to over $850M in 3 years, along with designing the operational infrastructure required for such rapid growth.
He also ran distribution, supply chain and analytics for a $300M grocery chain rotating through 18,000 SKU’s annually.
Mr. Pengal holds a B.A. in Business Management from Roosevelt University.

Tom has substantial experience in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and in public and private offerings of equity and debt securities. Tom has represented a number of well-known buyout, venture capital and other private equity financing sources. Tom also has acted as outside corporate and securities counsel to several public and private issuers, including an array of aerospace, high technology, e-commerce, food service and consumer products companies.
Tom is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with Honors and also holds his J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law.
Tom lives in Manhattan Beach, California and also currently serves as a Director and as the Secretary of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
T.J. McCaffrey serves as a Vice President at Atar Capital, where he primarily supports Atar's origination efforts. Prior to joining Atar Capital, Mr. McCaffrey served as an Associate at Goldman Sachs & Co., focusing on business development within their Investment Management Division.

Mr. McCaffrey also serves as the Co-Founder/Head of Business Development for Butter, LLC, a software development company that focuses on creating innovative web and mobile applications. Additionally, he serves as Vice President of Business Development & Strategy for Homage Arts, a creative film and television development company based in Los Angeles.
Mr. McCaffrey holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance from Auburn University.
Dodge Ward serves as a Vice President at Atar Capital, where he primarily supports Atar’s origination efforts. Mr. Ward holds a B.A. in Economics from California State University, Northridge. He attended CSUN on a Division I golf scholarship, while he was captain of the team.
